“It was a lovely day for the beautiful divas of Note Dolenti! to take on the retro beats of Generation MTV. However, today was not a good day for the lady singers as the 80s music champions took the field and really laid into them. 4 CAS, 2 from fouls, and getting 3 Broken Necks really made it hard for the Dolenti divas to resist, but resist they did in the first half and managed to keep the ball away from the MTV crew. Second half they kept it safe in their own half of the pitch for a while, but again the KOs and CAS started piling up and the Genereration gang finally made a move towards the ball. Madonna tried to punt into my half of the pitch, but she fumbled the ball even with the Pass reroll. Rock Me Amadeus pushed Madonna away, and Money For Nothing (aka Knopfler wolf) scooped up the ball and scored with a pair of GFIs. All that was left was for Britney to complete a pass to Madonna (and I believe they exchanged a kiss, though I can't be certain) for a skill, the Generation threw a few blocks (nothing worse than a stun) and time expired.

Thanks for the game Menzogna. If this is how you play after having some wine, you must be formidable when sober. Seriously, your defense was almost impenetrable and it was only the numbers advantage and a bit of luck that allowed me to score my lone TD.
