The Dreamers of R'lyeh's plans to destroy the world were foiled by a stone wall of green savages. Try as they might, the Dreamers couldn't punch a hole through that wall and had to go around it. Then the wall moved, faster and more deftly than any wall should (BoB Dodge, 2 GFIs to mark the ballcarrier). Before we knew it, the wall had surrounded the Dreamers again, and even with 3 tries, they could only roll skulls when they needed pushes (2 blocks, 2nd with a reroll). 2nd half the Dreamers were up 1 monster, but the Orcs quickly fixed that situation with some CAS and KOs. It didn't help that Hastur (the blocking Mummy) was AWOL in the dugout. Probably working on his new play, The King in Yellow. Thespians! You can't destroy the world with a theatrical production. The Dreamers tried valiantly to stop the green tide, but more stuns and KOs came at all the wrong times, and our desperation move was foiled not by a dodge (reroll fixed that), but a failed GFI. Stoopid 1s. As I told strikereternal, the dice would have hurt much less if he had been a poor coach. Unfortunately for the Dreamers, he was a very solid coach and played everything the way he should have. It's frustrating to be beaten by one's own playing style, but it was a fun game nonetheless. No permanent injuries, a CAS for Cthulhu, and several players set up for a VP skill next game. Too bad Farticus stole the VP this game. Though I can't say he didn't contribute, just not who I wanted to get it.

Thanks for the game strikereternal. You have saved the world from destruction by the forces of Cthulhu this day. But it is only a temporary reprieve, I assure you. R'lyeh will rise again, and the minions of this world will have their minds shattered, as countless worlds before it.

Edit: Heh, maybe we have a convert after all...
