“A very tough matchup - against so much ST 4, we really were not equipped to fight them. We gave up the early score (turn 2), and then the lizards blitzed on the kickoff and we were again pinned. Honestly, there was a good chance of being down 0-2 here but the lizards were out of RRs and some skulls ended their turns early and after a few failed attempts we finally managed a handoff and broke an amazon free. Still, the game was certainly in doubt - but we stalled 1 turn to limit the KO rolls and that turned out to be the real piece of luck we needed as we went 2 for 3 on wakeups and the lizards went 0 for 2. We had the numbers advantage for the second half while it was tough against the lizards large bodies, we managed a score - fouling as we went thanks to "get the ref" on the kickoff...the fouls helped a lot as krox and 2 skinks were BH. We scored and tried for some more spp - but it was not meant to be. A fun game and a great opponent.
