“I sensed a lot of frustration from my opponent as the dice were not with him today. I won toss and opted to kick. He got a lot of pushes early, and my blocks were getting more POWs on less attempts. Managed to get the ball free and deep into his half, when a Loner beastman dodged free and blitzed my ghoul into the pitch, stunning him. Then the same Loner grabbed the ball and ran back to his endzone. I dodged my wolf free to blitz him back, and pushed him out of the back, but the ball sailed deep into my half. He got it with a CW and passed to a different Loner, but the Loner dropped it. I couldn't reach him in a single turn, so he had 1 last chance to score, but the Loner failed the pickup. I tried a Long Bomb but missed and the half ended scoreless. 2nd half I received, got the ball and built a wall. He committed a lot of players to one side of the pitch where my Werewolf, Blocking Golem and Guarding Wight were, so I ran the other way. We got into a bit of a fouling match, and somewhere I picked up a new zombie, Billy Deepwing (on a block I'm pretty sure). Scored as soon as I was able because I had the numbers advantage. Next kickoff was a Perfect Defense and I stacked the line and put players in both wings to make a run at the ball. Coach Loredana had had enough and conceded in disgust. He did congratulate me, and overall he took the dice rather well. Only a tiny bit of complaining, and half of it was in Spanish so I really wasn't sure what he was saying.

Good game anyway. Nuffle sucks sometimes, that's for sure. An evil little part of me was happy to see the rage retirement follow the rage conceded, but only a tiny part.

Safety Dance - Block; after trying for 6 games to get 1 TD on this ghoul, I scored a TD, a CAS and a VP. I'm set up for another skill next game, if I can just score another TD or win the VP again. \o/”
