Hired Morg to get some bash, that worked nicely as he caused 3 casualties and generally ran around bashing some frogs. It is nice to see that inducements can make a match with a relatively high TV difference interesting.
Oxfrogs Orange started with a 3 turn score, luckily having a free receiver as the opposing blitzer KOed himself on snake eyes.
Lustiga received and started with awful dice, getting banned on a foul and later failed to catch and throw properly. It looked like Oxfrogs could score the 2-0 before halftime, but oh great frogness, their "catcher" wasnt any better, losing the ball and being puzzled by Lustiga´s star catch-thrower passing for the TD. 1-1 at halftime.
On half, Lustiga´s ball ahndlers had not learned a bit, continuing to let the ball slip through their hands. Oxfrogs got the ball, lost it again, Lustiga lost, Oxfrogs lost it.... pure frogball, without any team scoring. After Morg caused some pain, Lustiga was outnumbered and without chance to score, but their terrible game winnign catch-throwfrog managed to punt the ball away. 1-1 after 2 halfs.
Overtime: Lustiga received, and Morg failed to sack theri last catcher. 2-1 and sudden death after 2 turns.
It was a fun match. I did not expect anything from the Crown of Sand with a 1500TV team, but in this game it hurts to get kicked out. Not because I was unlucky - i was not, RC had worse dice, but because after several lucky turns i was often enough only 1 dice roll away from a win (or a 2-0 at halftime at least). Nuffle is such a tease.
Thanks for a fun match. By the way: I never thought kick-off return on a diving catcher could be soooooo annoying.
GL in the tourney RC, show them the frog way.”
