“2011 Warpstone Open VI Qualifier III

My 1st Major game ever.
1st game since Nov 2005 for my Dwarves

1st half
I recieve the opening kickoff. Leprous Jack sets up and I notice all of his guards are to the right (bottom) of the pitch, so I plan to go Left (top), even tho his Beast is up there. High Kick, so I put my Ag 4 blitzer under the ball, but it was deep in my territory. But things went well, Flint stunned a guy, but was killed in return. I was able to run the ball down field. Would have been a 5 turn score, but I had tied him up good enough that only one rotter was threatening, so I delayed until turn 6 to score..thought bout delaying another turn, but felt I could stop his return score before the half.

His drive opens with 2 KOs and a BH (used wandering apoth on that one), but I was able to keep him from scoring (he didn't push hard to score either)

2nd half
Leprous failed to pick up the ball, so I moved my guys just in case it happened again..and it did. So, Junior (agility 4 blitzer) gets the ball (in a TZ) and dodges away. Next turn, I killed the rotter that marked me, and moved towards the EZ. Turn 4 , I scored, bringing the score to 2-0 with only 4 turns left.

The Nurgle team could not score before the game ended, so it was a 2-0 win for the Techies of KAMU!

Bubba Bo Bob gets Mighty blow. Still at 10 players, but nice that CRP rules give you the journeymen.”
