Total Rubbish! That's what this match was. Well, the dice were anyway. The Wood Walkers have had some bad dice before, well, every match so far. But they've always managed to overcome it when it mattered. Not today. Bad dice burned all our rerolls early, then the cast and crew just fell apart at all the wrong spots. Could have EASILY gone ahead in the 2nd half, but Deputy Hawk snaked a Dodge and dropped the ball on the way to the endzone. After that, the Cult of TV boys picked up the ball, completed a pass, and took off down the field towards our endzone. One last chance to get the ball, all Special Agent Cooper had to do is make a 3+ leap, and get a push on the 1de blitz to strip the ball. All Cooper did was fael and KO himself. As usual.
Team's first loss, my first loss in E.L.F., and a measly 11 points. Definitely gonna have to play the Cat E game over again. At least we didn't lose any permanent cast members for a change, also a first. We'll actually have a full crew back for next episode. And the VP didn't go to a Journeyman or an injured player for a change. The studio finally came through with the funding, too. That will help.
Props to Coach Halflingdave. He scored as many TDs against me in 1 game as I'd given up in the 5 previous games. This was also the only team the Twin Peakers gave up more than 1 TD in a game to. The Norse played well, don't want to steal their glory. From my side, I don't see what I could have done differently, and that hurts. Also made it hard to enjoy the match once I was completely out of it. Good job, Dave, you earned this one. Your team was the better squad today.
Skills: (2)
Deputy Andy Brennan - Block (2 4) Deputy Brennan completed 2 passes today, which was good. But his lack of combat training has been hindering him for a while. Now he has some fighting skills to go with his Nerves of Steel
Deputy Tommy 'Hawk' Hill - Block (1 5) Deputy Hawk also went through combat training, since these guys seem to be under fire a lot. Having Block today would have prevented him being knocked down at the goal line, and he only would have needed 1 Dodge instead of 3. To his credit, he made the pickup and the first Dodge under pressure.”
