“Half-1: Game started with a Blitz! result, but this resulted in nothing significant as the ball was kicked deep. Some help from nuffle & the claw-Dorfs beating the entire Pact team out of the pitch save 2 marauders who ran away and 2 big guys who stood on the ground. The highlight of the half was Madhate the troll getting sent out badly hurt/fail regen by a 2d-block from a dirty plaeyr hobgoblin. T8 counterblocks gave 2 badlyhurt hobgoblins making both teams stranded for reserves.

Half-2: Starting with a rather underperforming pact team (both bg's 1d on the LOS) the teams setup for the 2nd half. On the 2nd turn Dorfs got a chance to break the game when brainrock 1-1 failed his dodge away from the Dwarven claw of ugly dorf, this ended with a ballcarrier blitz by Rampaging bull who got the pow, got the ball on the ground but failed pickup with a RR (3+, 3+). The following turn the pact team secured the ball by blitzing the bull out of the balls TZ. Rampaging bull had another opportunity to steal the ball a 3+ 3+ dodge (or 3+ 2+, if BT not used on the first dodge) but proceeded in rolling 1-1 on the 2nd dodge. The next half safety-hobgob was blitzed out and the pact started stalling on the endzone. T4-8 nothing spectacular happened, clawmbpo blitzes were exchanged.

T16: RIOT gave dorfs another chance to score, but this failed due to a bad handoff (failed 3+ again, by the same bull again!). Ball bounced out of cage stopping the Dwarven riot-TD in its tracks. Dorfs won the cointoss in half-3!

Half-3: Dorfs started unspectacularily hurting nobody, pickup worked though and we were off. Goblin took a risky T1 foul, got a KILL on Hairy dorf, the most violent super-star-dorf in the CD team, but was sent off for it by the ref. Not long after an opportunity to turn the game leftside presented itself, and not long after that the bull failed another hand off!! Ball bounced to the handoffer, but luckily the blitz by pact caused a bounce into the cage. The turn after that some blocks were exchanged, ball was handed off outside the blitz or moverange of any pact players ending the game in certain victory for the CDs. Stonetroll acknowledged this and thus only attempted to at least take the best remaining CD player out of the game by a clawmbpo blitz. Luckily for the dorf, he was only badly hurt.

Good hard fought match, a fitting end for Hairy Dorf, gl in the next tournament ;).”
