This episode of Twin Peaks saw the Wood Walkers face off against the Orcs of Balulonia Dark Tribe. The woods are dark and perilous where the Dark Tribe comes from. The TP crew won the toss and opted to receive, mostly because they were a little afraid to get on the LOS against such a formidable looking bunch. We scored quickly, as was expected, but lost a player in the first 2 turns. Now defense was going to be with 10 (or less) the rest of the game. Managed to prevent the orcs score in the 1st half, and even turn it around into a defensive TD. Up 2-0 at the half, but lost another player. Now playing 9-11 (orcs had a few KOs but also brought reserves). 2nd half, the Dark Tribe unleashed the power from the Black Lodge and removed some more TP crew. Then a failed Leap and a bonehead move from the TP director (me) allowed the orcs an easy shot at the endzone and they took it. 2-1, TP crew, with enough time for either team to score. We got another Quick Snap (must have been at least 3 in the game, with 2 being for the Wood Walkers) and took advantage of it to get a 2 turn score. The Orcs once again made a strong effort to hamper the TP cast, but Dodge saved the day (twice). 2 turns for the Dark Tribe to at least put more points on the board. They made a pass and got within scoring range, and even killed 2 players - Leo Johnson, who we let pass, and Big Ed Hurley, who the apothecary patched up but he'll have a limp now (kinda like Leo's limp). Still, Big Ed is a big part of our success and we didn't want to see him go just yet. Leo's been getting into all kinds of trouble for several episodes now, so it was no surprise to see his past criminal activities finally catch up to him. In our T7, Sheriff Truman was able to strip the ball (well, we actually got a POW) and Agent Cooper caught the loose ball. Deputy Hill came over to support and put the boot into a fallen orc, but to no avail. At least he didn't get tossed by the ref, unlike the Dark Tribe. Guess this ref respects Law & Order! Orcs were not able to score, and Agent Cooper ended the game with a quick pass to Deputy Brennan to end the game.

Thanks for a fun one, Baluga, and grats on your BoB skills.

Ugly:
2 RIPs against, 1 apo'd to a perm SI. Normally wouldn't have used apo, but it was late in the game and RIP is more perm than -MA

Money - 1, rerolled to a 2. Once again, the cast and crew are still having trouble with financing from the producers. Not sure what they want, ratings are high and we're climbing every week in the standings.

Bad:
0 CAS for. 24 Blocks probably had something to do with that. We did get a few KOs, but they all came back

MVP going to an extra. Normally, we would have just hired Mr. Viletree, as he played rather well and really supported the cast during this episode. But the funding issues made sure that wouldn't happen. I think he did something to annoy one of the producer's lackeys.

SPPs took a hit without the MVP. 13 is a tad low for the Wood Walkers, but lack of CAS also contributed to that. Orcs are tough.

Good:
E.L.F. points were solid. First game the Wood Walkers have played against any of the bonus point category teams (A & B).

Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole - Chief Cole's leadership did seem to have a positive effect on the cast, and he will certainly be appearing in future episodes.

Skills (1):
Sherrif Harry S. Truman - Side Step (1 4). Truman saw just how effective FBI training can be for local law enforcement after Cooper educated Deputy Hawk in some Bureau techniques. Side Step should help him in apprehending fugitives from the law, and returning stolen property (the ball) to its rightful owners (the citizens of Twin Peaks)!
