We had the game in the bag in the first half and scored in turn 8 without too many problems. That's when Nuffle decided to intervene and give the woodies a riot in their turn 8. Some elves ran deep, but the woodies suffered a turnover, leaving only 2 players in scoring range. I got rid of one of them and only had to gaze the second to make a TD all but impossible. Wanna guess what happened?

Of course the pass worked, the 3+ catch worked, the dodge worked, the 1 d blitz worked and the 2 GFI worked. Standard woodie stuff!
Second half we got some decent pressure on the woodie drive, but the elfed their way out of it and we were on the chase. We managed to make them score with enough time to go to equalize, but our drive fell apart due to to many 1's.
