Despite a 3:2 block advantage and an significant AV advantage the Bouncing Souls ended the first half up 1-0 on the scoreboard but down 11-9 on the pitch.
A blitz and a KO to start the second half gave the Souls a little hope, but unfortunately the second half was more of the same and despite a couple heroic blitz attemps on the ball couldn't stop the vampire score.
Tied at 1 with only 7 Souls on the pitch the froggies were hoping that the vamps lack of training (rerolls) may allow them to sneak away with the W.
With time winding down a frog broke free hoping to hop in for the last minute win, but the vamps had a heroic blitz of their own, flattening the Souls last hope and setting themselves up for a long bomb chance to win.
A pinpoint pass over a defender landed in the hands of a thrall in scoring range but the mere thrall couldn't hang on for the win.

TL;DR version: A tie that should've been a win is better than a loss that should've been a win.”
