“The dark elves bring three extremely expendable journeymen to this game.. and yes.. they get volunteered for the LOS as they kick off, surprise surprise! Our first block of the game scores a MNG on one... blammo!

They counter by crowdsurfing a linerat we foolishly left 2 squares from the sidelines so we switch sides on them and then manage two KOs on T3. T5 and we have the ball within scoring distance.. but a 1d blitz knocks it free... and our +MA gobbo catches!

We make space and he scampers through to make it 1-0 on T6! 9 elves face our 11 as we kick off and they rush down one side with the ball, scoring a BH on a linerat as they go. T7 and we can just about get a 1d dodge blitz in... it's a skull but our final reroll makes it a POW and their rookie lineelf is -MA injured! The ball is by the sideline in a pile of players and when they fail to pick it up we take advantage and crowdpush two elves: their blitzer KILLED (apo turns it into an MNG) and a lineman unhurt. We also steal the ball and they must go to halftime without the equaliser.

We kick off again now with 11 vs 7, though they immediately BH a gobbo on T1 and MNG another on T2 to even things out. They rush down one side on T4 despite us trying to crowd them out of it, with both teams taking a few KOs. T5 and we finally cause them to trip over on a dodge and drop the ball- there's just 4 of them left on the pitch now vs 7 of us..

But they are elves and they make a few -1 dodges and pickups and handoffs... but fail the final key one! We surround the ball, trying to make this as difficult as possible.. but on T16 their blitzer dodges through 2 tackles zones to steal the ball and dodge on past and make it 1-1! What a hero!

We have one turn left til half time to try for a TTM attempt.. but our gobbo drops the hand-off.. the clown!
