“We receive the kick and on T1 put in some pain on the three journeymen nominated to stand on the LOS, scoring a niggle and a KO. They immediately charge around our lines with their statfreak blitzers managing a 2d blitz vs our CW with the ball... but it's double skulls! We run into their half scoring a few more KOs on the way and keeping the ball safe in a large cage.

However on T4 they unleash the elf power with their AGI5 blitzers getting guard next to the ball and then leaping in two both 2d blitz it AND dodge through two tackles zones to pick it up! We can't get our tackler at the ball carrier and he runs to the halfway line, pursued by most of our team. T6 and we get a break when they go for a dodge blitz to free up the ball carrier.. and roll double 1s! We tackle the ball free and recover it well, running it back upfield to make it 1-0 on T8.

They have 5 KOs and only get 2 back despite two sets of rolls so we kick off with 11 vs 7, but it's no problem for the super elves as they run the ball in their AGI5 leaper's hands down one sideline, then leap over our attempt at defense and make it 1-1!

We have niggled a lineelf and only 1 of 3 KOs wake up so they kick with 7 vs 11 again. We get our DP sent off on his first foul of the game stunning one of their guard blitzers, while they defend cannily focusing on 2d blocks and minimising our hits vs them, scoring a KO by T4 so we're only up two players. T5 and some nice chain blocks and (again) their annoying guard blitzers let them get a 1d -> 2d frenzy hit on the ball carrier to knock it free.

What follows is a few turns of us trying to desperately stop them from stealing it, with several blodge sidesteppers and two AGI5s hanging around, this is no easy feat! T7 and it bounces into their witches hands... and we immediately double skull trying to block her! They hand it off to their waiting agi5 in our backfield and steal the win!! Curseees!!
