“Up against a FAR superior minmaxed marauder team; they have 3x MB/claw combos and plenty of guard vs our none of either..
We kick off and they immediately BH a journeyrauder. Both teams then score a couple of KOs as we jostle back and forth at the centre line for a few turns. T5 and they finally rush their dark elf through into our half, and we start losing the fight in the middle: by T6 we have just 6 players left on the pitch and there's little we can do. They stall things out til T8 and then make it 1-0.
Half time appears and all KOs have returned so we have 10 vs their 11 now. We BH a marauder on T1, but then get one of ours sent off on a stun-foul.. bah! T2 and we nip the ball into their half but they can just about 2d blitz it and their blodge dark elf has stolen it.. bah! They score another KO so we've 7 vs 9 and then run nicely through our players when our dark elf trips up trying a (difficult) series of dodges to get at the ball. At this point it's impossible for us to recover, but we do score a consolation cas (apo saves) before they make it 2-0.
