“We receive first but start rather poorly with double both-downs on blocks burning up rerolls (and causing a turnover) on T1 and T2. T3 and our star dark elf finally steps in, blitzing space around the ball and picking it up. The rest of the team however have done nothing but fall over themselves and on T4 they finally POW the dark elf over. He bounces right back up like the legend that he is and pows the ball free of a massive gang of high elves .. but again they find the POW on T5.. bah!

T6 and they get their third POW in a row on the darkie (he doesn't even have the ball this time) for a KILL... but luckily the apo can put him back together!! T7 and we knock the ball free with a 2d blitz and try and surround the area with bodies.. but the elves make no odds about recovering the ball and making it 1-0!

We kick off for the 2nd half with no players missing on either team.. but that quickly changes. They roll a double both-down getting a -ma on a lineelf (apo tries to KILL him!!) and we follow it up with a BH, though they then crowdpush a marauder. T2 and we knock over the ball carrier, but a different elf catches it and they run it deep into their backfield. We then spend the next 7 turns fruitlessly chasing them around the pitch, trying to cover receivers and get at the ball.. til they make it 2-0 on T15.
