We kick off and a massive pitch invasion ensues... mostly triggered by our fans it seems... 2 of our players are stunned compared to SIX of theirs. They then manage to get a turnover on their 2nd block and we can take advantage, rushing our team in to steal the ball... but our blodge SV fumbles the pickup!
They rally around, with their team having recovered from the pitch invasion and start causing some damage. By T2 we've taken a BH and a KO and have scored two KOs but the ball is right in the middle of their squad. They recover the ball, score three more KOs and a MNG (apo saved from a -AV) plus a niggle... and suddenly the half is ruined for us!
We get our DP sent off trying to hurt their nasty blitzer (a stun), who then BHs our troll (regen fail). I think at this stage I can safely say the match is over! They score with 2 of our players left on the pitch.
Despite our babe a goblin sleeps on after two attempts at waking our KO box, while their whole KO box returns (including the black orc we sent in on T8). We have 7 vs 11 now and it's truly an impossible task. Still, we start well scoring a BH and then a KILL with our first blocks (apo saves their troll). They quickly turn up the pain though scoring a BH on their first block, and then surrounding the rest of the team.
We dodge a two-headed gobbo through, then rush our thrower forwards to make a 4+ pass to him, then dodge through more goblins to cover the blitz. They decide to hit our clawed SV instead, scoring a BH so we quickly make it 1-1.
Still we've only got 6 vs 10 as we kick off again... this can only go downhill. On T5 our remaining DP fouls and is again sent off for a stun (that's 2/2 sending offs for us), while their super blitzer MNGs our remaining SV they foul out a gobbo for a -MA injury. They KO our thrower and we're down to just two gobbos left on the pitch so they make it 2-1. We now have 3 players as they kick off again.. but we manage to stop them scoring a third or take any more permanent damage.
