“Another frustrating game where I couldn't perform the simplest actions and my opponent was pulling off heroics with sickening regularity. I failed 3 Break Tackle 2+ Dodges (rerolled 1 into a success), 3 GFIs (rerolled 2) and had some kickoff events go against me (including a thrown rock that hit Black Out so hard he's gonna miss the next game). Even my score in the 1st half wasn't executed the way I wanted as the necros unleashed a turn of fury and started removing players forcing me to score early. About the only thing that went right was the ref tossed a zombie on their only foul. Both of my fouls went unnoticed, but 1 failed to even break armor and the other was a T16 stun on Gory Details. ST 4 werewolves deserved to be fouled, though. All in all, a disappointing performance by the Brigade, and a very nice performance by justagigolo. He pulled off several heroic efforts including a ghoul score that involved a 4+, 3+ dodge and 2 gfis. and a 1-die blitz by Yo Diggity on my bull ballcarrier that not only knocked him down but KO'd him as well. My Mighty Blow minotaur didn't break armor once. Not counting the werewolves, I can remember at least 4 armor breaks that his golem and MB wight scored though some of those were on hobgoblins. At least justagigolo was a good chat and he played well. My only real mistake was forgetting to blitz with my minotaur one turn, blocking instead and being unable to use Juggernaut to turn 2 skull/pows into a push for a second hit. Then the Loner ate my reroll and that was that. We're gonna miss Blue Suede Shoes, the teams #1 ballcarrier. With any luck Black Jack will be able to fill that role soon. Next game is gonna be rough with a journeyman and 2 dwarves sitting on the bench. Oof.
