“WIL Grand Tournament - Round II

We're up against rats coached by zombificus; we've met before in a premiership game where despite having ALL of their GRs out with injury they still held us to a 2-2 draw... could be difficult to win today!!

There's 3 nigglers on either side but everyone mans up to play the game. The rats kick off first.. and our bloodthirsty fans get the ref! Nice.. we have 4 DPs on the pitch!!

They rush the backfield and on T2 a strip ball GR -2d blocks our ghoul to knock the ball free.. but another ghoul catches! We KO a couple more players (4 now) and then niggle their +STR rat with a block, using their apo to save him. T4 and when we roll 4 skulls vs their claw rat we see a wight MNG'd.. but luckily he regens! They then rush in and -2d our rookie ghoul with the ball. We recover on T5, scoring a KILL on a storm vermin, leaving them 5 players on the pitch vs our 9.

We then roll forwards, fouling out their claw linerat for a BH and KO'ing two more players. T7 and we crowdpush a linerat for a -AV injury and then make it 1-0 with a single rat left on the pitch. They get two attempts to wake up their 6 KOs, getting 5 back, so they have 7 vs our 11 as we kick off for the 2nd half.

By T2 they could score but decide to try and stall, and we capitalise on a messed up dodge by a GR (cas to boot) to blitz over their ball carrier for a stun. We recover with a ghoul and their rat ogre blitzes a mummy for a pushback and then a skull.. niggling himself! We push forwards with the ball, scoring a KILL on their +AGI GR before making it 2-0 on T6.

They can set up only 3 players and despite a good effort we are just about able to make it 3-0.
