“This was indeed a dark day for the Hoboken Ratz. At the start it looked like a good match-up, with two teams consisting of 10 players facing each other, both hoping for a soft game.
However, even though my playing style isn't based on throwing a lot of blocks and even though I almost never foul (certainly not in games like this), I landed an incredible six casualties during the first 10-or-so turns, and a few KOs on top of that.
During the first few turns it was rather even, as I got a BH and a few KOs myself, but I soon got the upper hand, and at the start of second half, when I was up 1-0 and received, I fielded nine players against Longinus_van_Eyck's five. There really wasn't much for him to do during the rest of the match, but his bad luck still kept up, injuring his players while blocking me.
For the Shadowless Hand, of course, it was a near-flawless match. No lasting casualties, a whole lot of winnings, and FF up. In essence just what I needed to get back up to 11 players. It came at the cost of retirement for my opponents though, something I had not at all wished for. Indeed, I wish I could have used my apotechary to cure brave Storm Vermin Squeetek da Mighty who got injured during the later parts of the match.
Thanks for the game either way Longinus, and sorry about the bloody outcome.”
