“Obba League One, Season 11 - Round 6

Round 6 saw coaches Wotfudboy and Garion in 1st and 2nd place, with James_Probert's Burningham City failing against elves for two games in a row.

I won the toss, in Blizzard conditions and took a risk by receiving... followed by a pitch invasion and my first block being double skulls!

The game was an odd one for me... with Blizzard conditions throughout the match, two pitch invasions, a wizard who rolled 1 on lightning, a very topsy turvey game with some very poor dice for me until the last turn or two where I suddenly became blessed by nuffle to win the game.

The result left Garion feeling (rightfully) robbed, and me after feeling like Nuffles kicked puppy throughout until the end where I was astonished at my turn of luck. A draw would have been much fairer...

However, I am obviously delighted to secure automatic promotion in the league with a game to go (and if I don't lose my last game I guarantee winning the league too)... and I got enough cash to purchase a 4th reroll.

Just need to see who battles for 2nd place now...
