Anyway, liffi got 5 men up in 3 turns as my heavily Journeyman dependant Rats got a total Norse thrashing. I was getting beaten black and blue, and having to throw desperation ball attempts really early. No joy despite a few ball shots through loose cages. OTS attempt thwarted by Perfect Defence, the usual stuff.

Snake to start the second half, and I’d written the game off as lost. Then liffi had to go in order to deal with a personal matter, and he conceded.

Feel entirely grubby. I would almost certainly have lost this the way dice we going; I had an _OK_ attempt at a 2 turner then trying the Leap / Wrestle / Strip thing with 8 upon 9 Norse, but to be honest, you could sort of tell it was the kind of game where anything that can go wrong would. So a moral victory for liffi, but a most odd win for me on paper. You'll note my only SPPs were the two concession MVPs.
