“The game was pretty one sided, except. Their second half blitz and perfect kick, followed by a very nice catch, had me very concerned. The ogre failed at a critical moment and the Pontiacs swarmed to the ballcarrier to knock him down. After that, it was pretty much over. The game had some strange moments. A zombie scored a touchdown in the first half with his blazing speed and quick hands, lol. But the wolves were the difference as they feasted on the humans. A very fun game, for me. And an enjoyable opponenet. ”

“We receive first and move the ball forwards very steadily til T4 when they can 1d blitz our thrower with a wight, catching the ball on the bounce. We go for a 2d blitz ... but fail the dodge. We have taken 3 KOs vs 1 and had a lineman -AGI injured at this point too, so we're totally outnumbered. We manage a 1d blitz on their wight on T6, but it makes no difference with a zombie catching it. They pile through, MNG'ing a blitzer and making the TD totally inevitable by T6. We get a consolation kill on a rookie zombie and it's 1-0 at half time.
10 vs 10 as we kick off... but wait - the humans strike first! Our kick is landing right by the LOS at one side and we blitz! Our +AGI blitzer runs in to catch the kick and we surround the area with players - nice move!
We have the ball safe but they have surfed a blitzer (stun) and then KILLED a lineman (apo turns it into a MNG) with a 1d blitz so we're down on players once again here. T4 and our ogre messes up a 2d block so they rush in and 2d blitz the ball to steal it, then score another 1d kill on a lineman. We try and surf a wolf... but roll a 1 on the GFI and then a skull on the block... story of the game!
They pile on through and make it 2-0 on T5. With 8 vs their 11 we can barely hold them back and are glad to hear the final whistle when it comes at last.
