“Bob: Well Jim here we are for what is promising to be an impressive match up.

Jim: Sure does BOB, both of these teams are evenly matched and although on paper the All Stars look to have the edge the Clots might last with staying power...this could be one for the history archive.

B: Well we are about to find out Jim as the Clots line up for the kickoff ina rather interesting formation here and WOW did you see that it caught the All Stars napping as they execute a near flawless Blitz before the All Stars are even in position.

J: Ill say the All stars left holes down the sides and we have two Clot Blitzers screaming forward with what I would call just nasty looks on their faces.

B: Ouch that was nasty the 4 forward Lineman just went savage on the All Stars front 4 with Clots Lineman Harden Long sending All Star Blitzer Svensson out for a few plays...nasty.

J: That opens the door for Seemor Buttes to Blitz up the guts and the two All Star Throwers are looking down the barrel of three might fired up Clots.....and all the luck the ball has bounced a few feet away from Clot Nostaw....things could go from bad to worse here.

B: The all stars are trying to recover there and Thrower Zuma did manage to move Nostaw away from the ball before falling over.

J: But it wasnt enough Bob just look at him scoop that ball up and go.....there is hardly a Clot on their side of the pitch as they run to celebrate....WAIT!!

B: Oh no, Natsow started goosestepping before the line and has come a cropper....the fool....

(sounds of laughter fill the stadium)

J: A great move by Kihlstedt their Bob dodging two players he know has the ball...DID YOU SEE THAT....

B: DID I EVER..amazing..Khilstedt hooked up with Roll and Roll Steam Rolled Manne...he is in open field with little left to stop him...what a turn around.

J: But it looks like speady Kronkite might get to him Bob yes he hashim cornered can Roll break free.

B: Too tight to call as Kruger as disposed of his coverage and is over lending a hand.....but no.Roll makes a superb move and has it end the endzone...what a great start to the game....

J: Sure is Bob lets see what else happens

B: The teams have set up with Chuck Long back to recieve but Manne is still feeling the effects of that hit leaving one catcher out there...its a pretty big front 5 out there for the Clots...he looks to mean business.

J: Long has the ball on a touchback and the Clots start to ....oohh embarrassing as Nostaw gets slammed by thrower Khilsdet and ends up on his back wondering how many people saw that...

B: 62000 Jim....and the Stars look to be in command covering the field and pushing the Front 5 around.

J: They certainly are in control with the Clots catcher getting nailed by a Zuma tackle there...at least the opened up the right hand side of the field...

B: Little good it will do them Jim as Long is know in the open.

J: Too true Bob and there we go Roll and Zuma converge on Long but no Zuma stuffed it...on his back...

B: And that is the break the Clots needed as Long makes a pressure pass out to Buttes and he is off to the races...CAN HE MAKE IT!!!

J: Bech has him covered Bob and here comes Santos in support and....*sounds of muffled laughing*..did he just do that...he tripped making the Block and he down.....

B: And Buttes capitalises sending Bech out with a niggling injury..WOW..his adrenaline was pumping then Jim...straight into the end zone.

J: 1-1 as the kickoff ensues and ooohh...The All Stars have had enough of this track meet and line up on the strong side...this could be a grinder..

B: Not to worry Jim the Clots are well trained and adjust before too much damage can be done.

J: So much for training Bob, Kruger just caught on the sideline for a nice entery into the stands....the Fans take their pound of flesh and send him into the KO bin...ouch.

B: Well Zuma has the ball and tried to get it Kihlstedt but oopps..little mispass there just when the Stars had a great formation going.

J: Not much time to score know but *more laughter* Nasgow goes down in an assisted block on Kihlstedt...*shouting to guys over his shoulder*..what do these guys do in training....

B: Not much to do know except...OH MY GOD..Nasgow got up and got back down KO'ing himself..what a joke.

J: Lets take a break.

B: Well we are back with the second half and both teams take the first orthadox lineups to date with the CLots recieving, Chuck Long is back with protection and both recievers are out wide with Blitzer Coverage.

J: Yes and a nice start byt he Clots freeing both Catchers down field with Long moving upfield surrounded by Lineman.

B: But the Stars have them covered and Kronkite is on his back....some nice midfielding blockign means Long better make his mind up quick I reckon.

J: And how Bob he know has the sideline, protection and two recievers open...what can happen here??

B: Well the Stars have Manne covered but Norregaard cannot keep up with Kronkite as he rolls into the endzone and gets a perfect pass from Long...its THERE!!!

J: Great start to the second half there for the Clots...can they hold the 2-1 advantage.

B: Oh no the Clots forgot how the Stars set up last time and they have been caught short on the strong side...this could get messy...

J: And how Svensson has been given the ball up front and the push is on.....

B: Some great team Blocking sees Nostaw into the stands and DAMN...he is out for a bit...and POW Santos gives Kruger a nightmare...

J: The Clots are defensive Bob...they are trying to hold....ooohh..Denn Isle enters the stands and is sent to the bench...nasty stuff there..

B: The balls not moving much but WOW what a wall those guys have got going.

J: Nasgow tried to make inroads sending Khilstedt out for a while......and they look to have the rumble halted for bit covering every player...

B: Yeh but being on the ground isnt good cover......and there we go Svensson breaks free with seconds left to take it in for the score...what a great little drive that was...amazing stuff.

J: The teams setup for a last second rumber stacking both sides evenly but the Clots have the jump and are moving slightly with two catches looking at gaping holes down the middle...and Kronkite can move.....can he beat the clock.

B: Its going to be close..Long has the ball..passes to Kronkite and he is away...GO YOU GOOD THING...He hhhhaaaasss....not quite made it falling a few paces short...so close yet so far.

J: Buttess decides Zuma should be in the dugout early and its all over....what a game...

Loved that game. Two even teams and two different playing styles..I prefer quick scores chrellep preferred to grind it out...great stuff...I think a draw was fair....equal luck...good and bad..but my stupidity should have given him the win...great fun that one.”
