“First half belonged to the dwarves. The Mt. Doom PM's elected to receive and set to work bashing everything in sight. Skulls were out in force however and quickly a dwarf was lying prone on the ground.

This early opportunity to steal the ball was utterly wasted. An unnamed skink streaking for the open ball tripped while going for it, allowing the dwarves to recover. Once with the ball back firmly in their grasp, the dwarves caged and protected the ball extremely well. Their slow march gobbled up 8 turns before they scored. The epitome of a how a dwarven drive should be.

In the second half the lizards regained their senses and blasted through the dwarven line, scoring in 2 turns. Shortly after kick off the lizards got another opportunity, when a runner fumbled a pass. With a burst of speed, the skinks scooped up the ball and put Chaqua's Champions on top.

The lizards managed to hold off the dwarves for the rest of the match, as the bearded ones tried to push the ball downfield.

No casualty caused by either side amazingly, as the single BH was the result of a failed skink dodge.
