A tough game - by most measures, this was a terrible matchup for us - the high elves had a lot of blodgers and plenty of skills. We also got very unlucky on rolling injury dice. Constant MBPO on the AV 7 catchers - and could not break armor except once for a stun. Overall, this entire game, we never once got a CAS blocking and only delivered maybe 2 KO hits. So with blocking not working at all - we were out-CASed by the high elves on blocking and on fouls as well. We had to rely on positioning - forcing the high elves into tough spots where they had to gfi a lot (this resulted in a CAS from failed GFI) - and also since they did not have sidestep we lured them to the sidelines, where some chainpushed surfed some of the elves as well. All total, both sides had their share of bad luck. However, the high elves were so concerned about protecting their team...that they did not make enough play for the ball - and this gave us the victory.

Dunno. It seems whenever I go against an opponent who has alot of skill and experience Nuffle just needs to be on his side as well. This is the 3rd time against Az, and once Nuffle game me the second helping of Skull, rr, skull (there were at least 4 this game) I pretty much just defaulted to trying to keep him from demolishing my team with his POMBers.
The only time he kicked to me he got the blitz, and my threat to score was removed by a Skull, skull dodge 2 turns later. Whatever. The plus side is he did no permanent damage, and I got a +ST lineman out of it, who may develop into the first real ball dislodging threat after another 2 level-ups.
My team is still developing, so has no real ability to get the ball on the pitch yet against an decent coach.
