#12 Smudge the Ignored – Dead (RIP)
The Black Album started only to get an interception (7+) in Turn 2. Despite honorable effort my Delfs couldnt stop the Scaly Man Things from scoring. Nevertheless there was enough time to equalize which was just good enough.
Second HT started with a bad kick and the Kroxi had the ball. He was 1 SPP away from becoming a Super Star, so he really tried. And what a beast he is! With my second effort, strip ball worked him beeing 3 fields away from my endzone. After a short skirmish the ball luckyly sprang in the Hands of Holier Than You, who could escape into a cage on the sideline. Sadly he was stopped by a Skull - RR: Skull block and the ball got lost!
In Turn 8 Sad But True got hold of the ball and passed (pouring rain!) over half of the pitch into the hands of Enter Sandman, who had dodged free truly heroic and scored.
My nerves where shaky and i looked away while passing.
Really good game against one of the nicest coaches i have met.”
