Things didn't start well against Bo_Brum's Lizards, with Virus taking out one of the Dwarves was quickly followed by a quick score for 0-1 and then a Blitz, but that was where Slitherpool's luck ended. The Dwarves were able to bring the ball into a loose cage as Lizards all around started dropping like flies, with the Miners eventually going on to score for 1-1.

After the break the Dwarves continued along the same lines as the first half. The first foul once again produced a kill, but this time there was no apo to save the Slitherpool Saurus. With the resistance of the few remaining Lizards broken, the Miners took the ball over the line for 2-1 and the match.
