“B Minor, Semi-Final

The Dwarves started the game as they meant to go on, injuring an Elf on the first block as they brought the ball forward. The Elves did well to slow the Miners advance, but lost some numbers in doing so. Eventually though they knocked the ball free, but the Dwarves made the required pickup, hand off and 2 GFI's to score for 1-0. The Elves tried a quick counter, but were foiled by the sun.

Into the second half and the remaining Elves broke down the Dwarven flank. The Dwarves tried to get near the ball but were unable due to some clever stalling by the Elves. It came at a cost though as when they scored for 1-1 their numbers were very low. Another foul before overtime reducing their number to just 4.

Into overtime and the crucial kick off roll was won by the Miners. Two Elves were quickly dispatched and soon it was just the Dwarves against the remaining star Elf Jeffrey Sinclair, who had already claimed the life or Tuvin Ironboot and was still standing as the Miners scored for 2-1 and the place in the final.
