“Bemoaners won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their Runner, Andy, picked up the ball and ran behind his front lines. Paragon of Malevolence played a nice defense not allowing many blocks against them. At one point in the first half they almost had double the blocks of their Dwarven opponents. This was mainly thanks to D'Angelo, the "Violator's" great play. He performed his crowd pleasing "Choke of Doom" on two Dwarven Blockers, badly hurting them. He also showed that he was just not a one dimensional player when he seriously injured another Dwarf with a "legal" elbow to the throat.
The Dwarves could hardly get past midfield but the Wishmaster may have ordered one too many fouls that could have made the touchdown more difficult. With time running out, Bemoaners, opened up a hole between the Dark Elf defense and Andy ran up their gut. They were able to form a blockade to stop any PoM players from making an attempt at their ballcarrier. The Runner would score to end the first half.
PoM received in the second half. Their player advantage was null as two out of three of their knocked out players refused to wake up in two attempts. Nevertheless, they delayed the Dwarven lines at midfield as long as they could with the threat of the "Violator" looming before them. Eventually, the Dark Elves were pushed back to their end of the field but Linken made a nice pass to Draeke. The Blitzer would speed up the left side of the field and straight into the end zone to tie the game at the end of regulation.
