“Well what more can be said about this game than what your eyes can tell you? The Khemri were absolutely annihilated, whereas my killer snotlings only suffered the loss of a pump wagon, who gave up the ghost after sending a skeleton into the SI bin with a damaged back. Obviously the excitement got to the poor little snotlings on the pump wagon and they all collapsed and died at the same time. With the Spore Flingers spewing knockout gas on the undead, the game was even more lopsided after about the 3rd turn but, amazingly, they managed to hang onto a 0-0 stalemate at the end of the half.
Of course, because both pump wagons were out of the game (one having collapsed but not died earlier in the first half) the Khemri coach was very confident that his team could triumph, something that was quickly disabused when the Thro-Ra was knocked out thanks to a nicely placed dagger in his skull. Like nine-pins the Khemri continued to fall, the snotlings surrounding one unfortunate mummy and kicking him to shreds, regenerate out of that!!
In the end it was one of the very same spore flingers that scored the winning touchdown, sprinting away from the slower undead and keeping his nerve to score a last ditch touchdown. Where were the trolls you may ask? They did not do much, mostly keeping the low AG undead from moving after the more agile snotlings, prevention rather than cure was their role for this match. A well deserved victory if I do say so myself.
Admittedly the luck was with me on this game, but that could not make up for the fact that my opponent had totally underestimated how wrathful some enraged snotlings could be. His regenerate rolls were not the best, but the fact that he had to make them were indicative of how the game was going. Should have scored in the first half but my pump wagon died of a heart attack, ending that drive before it had begun. This is definately a retiring game for the Khemri, and I do not think that this coach will underestimate snotlings in the main arena ever again.
Anyone else want a game against these plucky, but fragile, snotlings, then bring it on!!”
