“Wheel of Chaos Qualifier, Round I
We're up against anisdrin's nice looking chaos dwarves. In particular they have a +MA +STR block surehands ball carrier hobgob, and a +AGI strip ball wrestle fend ball stealer one... lets see what we can do!
We kick first and get the first cas on T2 when a hobgob tries for an end-of-turn dodge... KILLING himself!! We follow this up with an MNG on a rookie chaos dwarf, while on T3 they KO our super wolf. T4 and their MB centaur -MA injures one of our ghouls with a perfect POW. They also MNG a flesh golem (regen fail.. arg) and KO a zombie.. so suddenly we are 7 vs 9.. ow!
They use this advantage to steamroll forwards, KO'ing some more players and making it all but impossible for us to attack the ball. T7 and we have a 1d chance at the ball... but even with a reroll fail the 3+ dodge. They make it 1-0 on T8 without any hassle at all (in fact MNG'ing a zombie - regen - before running it in).
We get two chances to wake up our 3 KOs... but DISASTER - do not get our golem or star MB wolf back. This could well be game over folks!
We fluff the pickup on T1 and they rush players after the ball, but we recover on T2 and move it to the half way line. T3 and their strip ball hobgob strips it free, and then a rookie hobgob finds the POW on our last ghoul for a BH. Definitely game over now!!
They collect the ball, steamroll over our last few players and make it 2-0 by T16. Not even a contest.

We did an early sacrifice to Nuffle in the form of a rookie hobgoblin dodging and killing himself.
Nuffle was satisfied and granted us a crazy turn of pain. From that point on the match was pretty one sided. Especially my opponent KO rolls that prevented a wolf and a golem from returning to the pitch for 2nd half.
