“Garion is a filthy liar! He managed to stun one of my Marauders at least once >:(
It's also astoundingly easy to be chatty and up-beat when dice mean you no harm, so let's hope I get the chance to be equally entertaining a day when the dice treat me half as mean as they did Garion this one. The result only tells half the story - the spirit of Benny Hil[L] was with the boys from beginning till end.
He summed up the game itself nicely, so I'll spare you the boring details of my most glorious victory! For now I will savour the sweet taste of English blood, as I march forth to claim back the Isles for good ol' Denmark - or at least obtain some sort of proxy victory to mock some superior, tea-sipping Brits.”
“The [L]ost Boys first game couldn't really have gotten off to a worse start. A loss in a true vampire style.
First turn the [L]ost Boys receiving. Blitz on the kick off table. Danelagen Gentlemen marched forward preventing any possibility of a 2 dice block and they BH a thrall. Then the game was underway but it didnt get any better. First vamp that moved failed bloodlust and BH a 2nd thrall then had to waste a RR on a failed 2+ pick up because the Danelagen Gentlemen were so close after the blitz. Next turn 2 more thralls were Ko'd by Danelagen Gentlemen and a Vampire was BH and the game was over. Only hope was risky plays :) sadly they all failed :( hehe
Tried to throw the ball with a vampire just to gain some spp, sadly they failed too.
Then came the highlight of the match, after conceeding a second touchdown one of the [L]ost Boys fans threw a rock which landed right on the trolls head and Ko'd it. The only Av break we managed all game.
Was a silly game, made very enjoyable by a fun chatty coach.
Good luck to you sir.”
