It was obvious from the way they played that the Johnsons' victory parties had continued until the previous evening. They were disorganised and couldn't do anything to keep the no-good Pacifists from scoring. Uncle Bob was still out of it, probably due to whatever the hell he'd been drinking the night before. Early on, Lil' Jim showed Quentistar what a Johnson is made of by blitzing him clean and hurting him big time. At that point, a bunch of hot little girls in skimpy nurse's outfits came bouncing down the pitch and gathered around Quentistar. You could almost see under their skirts! I couldn't see what they were doing to him, but after a few moments they left and Quentistar got back up. And so the Pacifists scored the first touchdown and set up to face the wrath of the Johnsons. The wrath, although fearsome I'm sure, was somewhat unimpressive as Uncle Bob continued his own mental voyages instead of hitting the pacifists. And again, the pacifists got a strong foothold on our side of the pitch, and before long, managed to score another touchdown, giving them a troublesome 2-0 lead.

The second half started with a good outlook for the Johnsons. They'd finally gotten their act together near the end of the 1st half, and there were only 7 pacifists standing in their way. The pacifists, however, put up a very good fight, and for a moment, it seemed like they might well win the match. The Johnsons quickly overpoewred them, though, and took up the chase with a neat touchdown by Joey B.. The pacifists didn't really stand a chance in the rest of the game, and despite their best efforts, the Johnsons tied the game at the last minute. There was time left only for a quick set up and face-off. And so it ended in a tie.

There will be no intervies today either, as I am busy keeping out of the way of angry people disappointed at the johnsons not losing and the raucous Johnsons fans. I don't know which are more dangerous, so I'll just stay here, under the bleechers.

Over and out.

Thanks to Parroco for a good, tight game. Good luck beating the rest of the street!
