“"So... I'm the bashy team in this scenario, right?" Yes, it was elves vs. elves, and the elfier elves elfed up the elfers. Elf.
That much having been said, the elves (us) actually did a pretty credible job of bashing, recording 4 casualties. Pete Hornberger unleashed his long-repressed rage on a pair of wood elves, actually killing one (yikes!), while Schrute hit an already-battered lineman and broke his hip.
Even the freebooter got into the act, taking advantage of my bribe (purchased mostly by accident) to put the boot in and kill another guy (though their apothecary brought him back to life.) That's not the elf way, freebooter... stalling or no. And it's not my way either -- he'll have to find a permanent job elsewhere.
(Seriously, check it out. 229 games, 43 fouls. Not my thing at all.)
Anyway, this game came down (as they so often to) to rerolls and wardancers. There was only one wardancer, but as is frequently the case, that was enough.
The good news is, Abed won MVP and got a genuine life-sized Strength Increase for his efforts. Ignatowski scored the TD before taking a casualty, but he's unharmed and has learned to dodge. The first step in a long and painful journey to skills for these elves...
Really fun game, despite the loss. Well done to Mr. Flashheart, and may he remain claw-proof for some time to come!”

A fun game, in which my opponent really suffered for lack of block and tackle on any of his guys. Any don't worry about the fouls, it's what I deserve for stalling.
Storm vermin, with one foot in the grave, (now -av and -ma) gets MVP (for most amusing cas?) and skills up to take wrestle (i feel he's not long for this world) while my Wardancer finally gets his 6th SPP abd picks up tackle (wish i'd had that last game vs. those zons).
