But yes, there was an AG 5 Wardancer involved, and that's a tough task for a rookie team without tackle to face. Normally, Craw Wurms are expensive and not very good. This Craw Wurm is also expensive, but very good... Jordell Jr. here was responsible for both the team's touchdowns, as well as some patented crazy dodges. (No 2+ leaps needed this time around.) If he can be kept healthy, he could be a huge weapon for the team... I wish him luck. Blackbox needs more elves.
Anyway. This was an even game that I almost won. It was Turn 8, and I was getting set to hit the other wardancer with my Troll, setting up a push to get the ball-carrier out of tackle zones and within 6 of the goal... of course the troll tripped and knocked himself out. Oh, the troll.
But yeah. Norse. I like block. I like the wolves. (I'll like the wolves more when they get block.) The troll is... amusing. (Not going to lie, I kind of wish I had sprung for the additional reroll instead... but whatever. I was going to get the troll eventually anyway.) He'll be better with block too, if I get that lucky... but until then, he holds the middle of the line just fine, thanks.
I'm hoping the Norse team's standard high-TV issues are offset by the fact that the new rules make it easier to maintain a stable team at a mid-range TV. (Sure, that stable team will generally be facing off against a bunch of min-maxed clawpombers and such, but at least Norse linemen are cheap to replace, and even the journeymen have enough Block to be useful players.)
Anyway! Enough of this long-term pontificating! It was a fun game, everyone got some fan factor, I picked up cash, nobody got hurt! Thanks again for the match, Ace!”
