“An even match, this game saw the ogres start with a bang. Earthen Taig recieved the kick, they flubbed their opening block, Big Jule dodged through the dwarven lines and successfully picked up the unguarded ball! The dwarves were unable to down the giant, and even mistakenly pushed him.. which led to Big Jule double going for it, and getting a 2 turn touchdown! Big Jule was undoubtedly the ogre of the match.
After that though, the dwarves got their act together, and trudged forward, bashing snotlings and ganging up on ogres, or avoiding them, whichever was easier. This led to a turn 8 equalizer, and a turn 5 goal in the second half - which saw the start of a blizzard!
With the terrible cold of the snow, the ogres through away the opening blocks, and Torster rushed forward, nimbly going for it through the snow, to give himself an opening for a third touchdown. A snotling attempted to move back to guard the ball, but miserably failed his dodge attempt, leaving Torster with only one snotling between him and Earthen Taig's third touchdown! However, Torsters inability to knock over the snotling prevented the attempt, even resulting with the snotling somehow picking up the ball in the scuffle - but snotlings aren't greathandlers, and in the final moments of the match, the snotling threw the ball away trying to hand it over to another snot for a flying attempt at an equalizing touchdown.
Thanks for the match zootsuitjeff! Good to see ogres in the box!”
