“What started out as a soaking wet day suddenly became perfect weather for BloodBowl, with the "BBQers Rise Again" electing to receive.... or so they found out once the the "Tribute to Allan Parsons" kicked the ball in their direction to start the game.
The majority of the first have saw the BBQers slowly forcing their way down the win and the Parsons looked for an opening to pounce. After 6 turns of careful positioning, Psychobabble pounced into the cage around Elih only to turn up a SKULL. A couple of blocks later a hole is opened and Elih rushes through to score.
With 2 turns of the 1st half to go, the Parsons smell a TD in the offing, only to have the BBQers pull a perfect defence on them. Leaping and rushing through to make some form of chance, a careless dodge sees Limelight the only option, left on his own. SMA's blitz putt Limelight on the ground and out of scoring range for a 0-1 1st half scoreline.
The 2nd half sees the Parson score quickly after a high kick puts Limelight under the ball. A quick pass to Don't Let is Show and a hand off to Standing on Higher Ground puts the game at 1-1. After which Elih is able to break free for another TD in the corner after an unsuccessful blitz by Professor Fether. Though the leap was magnificent.
So at 1-2 and 3 turns left in which to score, the Parsons stir the crowd to FEVER PITCH and they invade the pitch causing mayhem and leaving an almost clear path to the end zone. Limelight passes to Let's Talk About Me who in turn scampers away to the line in the hope of delaying enough to get a score and deny the BBQers enough time to score.
With both SMA and Elih down, the pressure is on. Elih stands and dodges to support and then SMA trips on the Blitz, with a regen RIP. Let's Talk About Me scores and it is all over for a 2-2 draw.
No CAS caused by either team!!
Twahnlows.
3. SMA for the Blitz on Limelight to prevent the 1st half scoring opportunity and the amazing RIP/Regen action
2. Elih for the 2 TD. But you can't help think that Elih is a little selfish and hogs all the glory
1. Renee, cause for a Zombie she is HOT and should have received the ball on the touch back in the 2nd half”
