“When it comes right down to it, a rookie Chaos Pact team is basically a squad of human linemen with two big men, one elf and maybe a goblin. This was very apparent in this game, as our players repeatedly failed to do much of anything and burned rerolls like mad. Even so, we were one failed GFI away from a second touchdown at one point, and had another shot in Turn 16. Alas.

Damage to the team was limited. Dres suffered a -AG, and we hit him with the apothecary. Later, Prince Paul took a -AG instead, a couple turns after he failed that end-zone GFI. So you'd think it's all even, but then Dres got MVP, so hey, we saved that.

We hung onto our money. I was going to buy a marauder, but we'll have two freelancers next game. Let's see if one of them can earn a roster spot... if not, we have saved our money, and will probably use it on a minotaur, because we are kind of suckers, and minotaurs are fun.
