“The Ruffians came out looking for their first victory, but the elves scored very quickly and despite having 6 turns to grind the opposition the Dwarfs failed to protect the ball carrier and were lucky to go to half time only 1 TD down.

The second half began with the Ruffians receiving the kick and despite some initial troubles ball-handling they were able to punch a hole in the elfen line. A hand-off to Cadeyrn and a good run by the Captain levelled the scores with plenty of time left and the Dwarfs 2 men up. The Ruffians hadn't caused any CAS, but plenty of KOs. The Ruffians blitzed the kickoff, but Smegish is right, it was a massive overcommitment. The Ruffians got lucky. The ball fell to Máel who got it off to Faelan for the stalled winning TD.

The last few turns Nuffle had his full wrath on the elves. They repeatedly failed easy dodges to pressure the ball-carrier and even in T16 rolled a double-skulls to finish the match.
