“It looked like a sure win for the Goats with a perfect kick and brilliant defensive positioning to start the game. They out maneuvered the Beard Co on every play and forced two early fumbles. But Floyd Brittle kept dusting himself off to pick it back up. With the seconds winding down, the Beard Co rallied for the second best play in their history (coincedently their best play was against a Jeffro-coached team back in the Not-so-Giants days). Brittle dodged away from the imposing OJ Simpson, tossed the short pass to Jason Keelem, who handed off to Steve Axwatter, who dodged away from Mansfield Wrotto and scampered in for the last second TD.

Still buzzing from the first half heroics, the Beard Co came out smashing and spread Goat blood all over the pitch. Terrel Owens nearly had a break-away, but the crafty dwarfs surrounded him and knocked it loose to secure the victory.

When asked how they pulled it off, MVP Mike Smashyerhand was quoted: "We just stayed drunk the whole time!"”
