Return of the Retired won the coin toss and chose to kick. Speed Skill's Tang was thrown the ball and the Gutter Runner dropped back. He waited for his teammates to get open and watched as the Nurgle forces scattered to try and cover them all. The Wishmaster switched up his game plan and saw an opportunity to do a little bashing. Led by Karril, SS began to throw some mean blocks that sent Rotters off the field. They took the numbers advantage and never relnquished it keeping the opposing team on their backs. "Lil" Maus would run in the touchdown to end the first half.

RotR received in the second half and they were down by two players. A perfect defense and a nice kick placed the ball in between three Skaven players. RotR's Beast waddled over to cover the ball and other Rotters followed. SS threw some nice blocks and Karril threw a shoulder tackle aimed at the Beast's legs that momentarily dropped it. That was all his Gutter Runners needed and in a blink of an eye, Tang was celebrating in the end zone to drop RotR in a 0-2 deficit.

RotR received again but SS kept up the pressure. They managed to steal the ball one more time. Team Captain, Remy, was thrown the ball and he crossed the goal line just as the buzzard sounded to end the match. Speed Skills move on to the third round!
