“Blüdhafener Bloodpest won the coin toss and chose to receive. Speed Skills hit them with an onside kick and Tang was there to recover it. The Nurgle Beast came to put a tackle zone on Tang but a chain push by Karril freed the Runner up. Tang would reverse and run to the right side of the field. A miscalculation by the Wishmaster left his ball carrier open and Tang was seriously injured by a Nurgle Warrior (-av). The ball was loose but recovered by Maus. Maus would throw a pass to Puck for a touchdown.

Blüdhafener Bloodpest received again in the first half. The Nurgle Beast failed a block and went down leaving his ball carrier open. Karril made the key play and sacked the Pestigor. A battle over the ball occured over the next few turns with Maus finally coming away with it. He would run into the end zone for the 2-0 lead going into the break.

SS received in the second half and the Wishmaster's overconfidence has come back to haunt him. He called for Puck to throw a quick pass to Nazgul when it wasn't necessary. Of course the ball was dropped by the Blitzer and in the ensuing turns, the strong Gutter Runner, Maus was killed. Neither team could handle the ball at this point as it was covered in blood. Thankfully the buzzard sounded before any more Rats died.
