My 1st major final. I was very excited.
We started on defense, some early turnovers on the side of the skinks let us put some pressure forward and get the ball. We stalled until turn 7 but with wizard around we preferred to secure the score than wait for turn 8. Lizards tried the oneturn but failed
2nd half started with us on the offense, we managed to remove all skinks save 1. Got the ball in a safe cage but then the wizards appeared. A perfect fireball: all 5 guys from the cage down and 2 casualties. Alas Nuffle appeared and lizards rolled snakes in a GFI so I could recover the ball.
We removed the last skink, but then seeing victory so close started to mess things a little bit. So lizards downed our ballcarrier and we had to manmark all guys to avoid them from getting the ball (only ag1, but doable).
Ulrik played a good match, but skinks armor was specially weak today.
