“The game opened up with me 40 TV down on inducement, since it's not enough to even buy a babe, I decided to invest some cash and get a saw, leaving my opponent only enough for a babe for himself.
As it was, it probably wasn't a great exchange since the chainsaw lasted about 3 turns before leaving the pitch, whilst the babe remained in play the whole game. Still those are the rules we play by, so I figured a chainsaw versus a babe would probably somewhat balance up the 40 TV difference, which it must have, because the game was a close one where Don only needed a 3+ dodge to score.

But I have come to the conclusion that I am not fond of the new inducement rule.
So, the second team with lower TV can hire anything, and leave the higher TV-team stranded. At least it could ask again if there was some fonds to be transferred the second time.
And in this case, a saw did that I could hire a babe.
(Since the saw is way better than a fucking babe...) And left me 40k to do nothing with.
Not really a fair trade from a game that was quite even to start with.
I called it abuse, but it probably isn't, but it is use to the extreme letter. Basecamping, so to speak...
