#2 Brute – Dead (RIP)
#5 Tendon – Dead (RIP)
#7 Effort – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
420 Grindin' It Out E'ry Day started the game off just right; killing Tendon, and getting a fast touchdown on the fourth turn. They continued the rest of the game getting casaulties left right and center, and they actually managed 7 casualties over the game; one from a piling on dorf which the officials didn't recognize, although it certainly hurt the Strength Monsters; and one on their own Runner, who tripped on his own feet dodging from a Tomb Guardian and took himself out of the game.

However, PyrionFlax was very frustrated to find that the only time his blocks were nothing short of perfection, was when he was trying to go after Brawn and his guards. Every time the dorfs attempted this, they double, triple, and quadruple skulled, knocking themselves to the ground over and over. Due to this, Brawn was able to trot in a turn 8 touchdown, as well as a turn 13 touchdown that gave Strength Monsters the win, even though the undead fouling and regeneration simply did not work, at all, during the entire match, which gave the dorfs a significant numbers advantage by the end.

All in all, a peculiar match, and thanks to PyrionFlax for the game! Have fun in the box!

Great write-up from Nelphine. As he says, all our blocks were great apart from on their unstoppable ball carrier, Brawn. In the first half, he was able to run a TD in after we'd failed to block him on several occasions. In the second half, our kick was so deep he was able to hand it to Brawn and that was that - can't stop the goal machine. Our strip ball dude got KOed, and any attempt to knock him over by my otherwise excellent Troll Slayers was met with skulls.

Good game, well played.
