Vampires steal win vs Lacklustre Reavers

The world famous Bristol Reavers put out a team featuring 6 rookies against the sneaky vampires of DaCoach, in an attempt to get some of the useless noobs to skill up. However, it was not to be as they were typically not-very-good, and despite the aid of The Duke and the other senior Reavers staff, the team went down 1-2 in an entertaining and (importantly) non-lethal encounter with the stylish undead.

The only player to skill up was the Troll, who fluked a late cas to move to 17 spps, gaining Stand Firm (meh, no double for Block, sadly). The noob blitzer scored a TD, which helps him move towards getting something useful early in the season, but the 3 noob bobs only collected one Cas between them. Must try harder.

60k earned, but 20k went on the Duke's after-match champagne and hookers contract clause (spiralling expenses), which suggests that money will not be very easy to accumulate in the new FIFA Fair-Financial-Play accounting environment that has been imposed on OBBA.

Roll on Season 12 and a rebuilding (ie: getting some skills) year in the Championship.”
