“Probably the worse match ever for the Wolfpack.
Lost the Alpha wolf on the 1st turn to the chainsaw of helmut wulf: -ST perm with a failed regen. He was quickly followed by the other werewolf (ko to never return) the guard wight and my skilled ghoul - all out for the match in the first half.
The battle of attrition and failed armor continued in the 2nd half with barrowman going down to a gang foul (miss next match) near the end of the match leaving 4 wolfpack players on the pitch.
For the match our "doctor" Igor Regen was 0 for 9 -- trust me, you don't want to know what is going to happen to him.
It looks like the Wolfpack's shot at the national championship went down in flames today -- just could not get helmut off the pitch -- or down for that matter. And the norsemens armor proved far superior to the zombies -- though we did manage 2 kills on rookie linemen (one on turn 17 when the match was decided).
Well played Ohio -- and good fortune for the rest of the season!”
