The Grunts started the game with a coach who had been imbibing a little too much of the divine amber fluid called beer. Despite this setback they came out strong, receiving first. With plenty of opportunity for the Messrs to capatalise on poor positioning, poor turn order, and just plain unforced errors, they were unfortunately unable to get possession of the ball, leading to a mid half score for the Orcs. A (almost) perfectly executed drive by the Norse in the second half saw the score tied with the Orcs receiving for the second time on Turn 4. A concerted drive to one side followed by a quick pass and switch saw the Orcs in a position to win, with no chance for the Norse to pull it back.

Coach Rangey had the terrible misfortune to be playing the Grunts at a time where they had a drunks luck, and he was just unable to do anything meaningful with the dice being against him.
