#11 Duffkop Grey Goose – Fractured Leg (MNG)
“A historic day as the two Eric/k's finally faced each other in SWL. I had a lot fun but for the 2nd game in a row against elves I found myself defeated as both games i was unable to cause any casualties and I just found defending against 11 elves too challenging and unable to stop Coach Erik winning the title.
Intoxicated received the ball and was able to cause a few KOs during their drives toward the Woodies goal. With the men advantage we were able to protect Moët & Chandon the ball carrier was fairly well and the orcs managed to scored on turn 5. With the advantage perhaps should have stalled, but didn't as the Woodies easily managed to equalise in 2 turns to tie the score at 1-1 at half time.
The 2nd half began rather cagey as the Woodies did not seem to want the quick score and was happy to mix it up with the orcs in the middle and retain possession. However a lapse in concentration by me and great bit of play by both the Woodies blitzers and I was suddenly down 3 blitzers in 2 turns. Inexplicably i left both my blitzers in consecutive turns on the side line to be surf out, as Remy Martin was stunned and Grey Goose my ag4 orc fracture his leg by the rampant crowd thanks to frenzy crazy Whoberry, for good measure Mandozer caused a BH on Macallan. Suddenly the game swung to the elves and in desperation Intoxicated used Malibu's boot to try to even the numbers but he had an ineffective day and only managed a couple of KOs all game. It was not enough to stop the Woodies to easily score the 2nd TD for 2nd for Passive Miguel Sanchez leaving Intoxicated with 2 turns to score. But it proved too difficult with both blitzers were well marked and with only a slight chance Glenmorangie was unable to hold on to a pass and the Woodies won the match and were crowned the Woodies Reunion Tour Conference XXXX.
Good game Erik and well played. Had a lot fun and I am hoping there will be chance regain my honour next time. Congrats on coming top and good luck for the prem next season.

With a shot at claiming the title and gaining promotion to the Premier Division this was a do or die finale to Season XXXX. With so much on the line the owners decided to hire bloodwiser babes for the lads as an extra bit of motivation. Boy did that decsion pay off!
The Mayhem were dominant in the early passages and we knocking the Woods out all over the place and took the lead nearing the end of the first half. However this left just enough time for Passive Miguel to grab an equaliser before the break.
Half time talks this seasons have been fairly sollem for the Woodies - it mainly consists of figuring out which of the lads are only 'playing' dead. However with so much on the line and the Babes doing their thing the Inc managed to field a full line up at half time! With the numbers in their favour the Woods managed to control the tempo for most of the 2nd half and scoring the winning TD and then holding out for the final seconds until the siron sounded out the end of the match and their season.
2-1 to the Woods and a top 2 finish claiming a spot in next years Premier Division not a bad effort for the newest Woods on the block.

3pts: Gobslag Glenmorangie - Was the main deterant for the Woodies offence. Was also the only blitzer who managed to last the distance
2pts: Uzthug Chivas Regal - Put in a lot of effort in the middle of park. Thankfully he was waring his mittens rather than his knuckledusters
1pt: Rotskab Moët & Chandon - Despite plenty of attention he managed to score the only TD for the Orcs
