#3 Lucien Favre – Smashed Hand (MNG)
The first match of the new OBBA season kicked off. The Hornhits had been looking forward to the new season starting (FOR AGES!) and they were literally chomping at the bit to get going. Unfortunately for somertown, they drew a team 370k TV more than them... it did mean however they could get some decent inducements, with 1 bribe, 2 bloodweiser babes and star player Max Spleenripper (with his trusty chainsaw).
The Hornhits received and made short work of the Nurgle defence. They soon scored. The ref was about to blow his whistle as he spotted the chainsaw... but then had a large bag of money thrust in his face by somertown... and he stayed silent.
Unfortunately for somertown, the next kick off resulted in a Blitz! for coach Wotfudboy's team... and enough pressure was applied to force an error which led to a 2nd TD.
The 2nd half was fairly uneventful with the Nurgle side unable to score a consolation TD.
A great start to the season for Wotfudboy's Chaos Dwarves, but there will be much tougher games ahead in the Championship, which is full of bashy teams, except for some nasty Dark Elves...
